Lexington’s Unsung Heroes were celebrated
at last Friday’s Gallery Hop, with the
opening of Blythe Jamieson’s Unsung Heroes
photography exhibit at ArtsPlace.
Over 100 people were nominated for this
award and 12 were selected.
In a partnership involving The
Humanitarium, Lexington Habitat for Humanity
and LexArts, award winners will be involved in
various community events such as a touring
photography exhibit of the winners.
Belinda Sellers received a “Lexington
Unsung Hero” award. She was nominated by
Latitude in recognition of her work in creating
Project Easy Access Lexington.
